We are fully committed to a continuing process of improvement in efficiency in our internal operations, our working environment and in the services provided to our clients. This commitment to continuous improvement is evidenced through the achievement of numerous externally verified quality standards and awards.

Train 2000 has been recognised for the Investors in People Award since 2002, successfully achieving the standard in the most recent review in 2008. The organisation also achieved the Matrix Quality Standard (Guidance Accreditation Board) 2004 for the quality of its systems and service to staff and clients.

In addition, Train 2000's training is underpinned by verification through the SFEDI (Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative) standards, is an approved Centre for National Open College Network is committed to ISO 9000.

Since 2002, Train 2000 has been developing our service along side the Common Inspection Framework - Adult Leaning Inspectorate, regularly undertaking self assessment and using the learning to inform and develop our practice. The findings and developments have been integrated into the externally verified Social Accounting process through which we develop our whole organisation development and improvement plan.

In 2008, an independent evaluation was undertaken to assess effectiveness of the gender friendly approach adopted by the organisation.

The Women Friendly Enterprise Service Provider Assessment ranked Train 2000 as "excellent":

Train 2000 has been recognised as a model of good practice by the European Commission in both 1999 and 2003, and was awarded the prestigious Euro Cities Award for its innovative programme development and delivery in women's enterprise. In addition, Train 2000's consultancy services were recognised as a leader in the field in 2002 when our client, WEETU, received the first Barbara Castle Award for Equal Pay as a result of our work.

Highlighting organisational success, Train 2000 was a winner of the Inner Cities 1000 Award for achieving outstanding levels of growth since 1996 as a social enterprise operating in an inner city and in 2007, was short listed for Social Enterprise of the Year award.

Finally, in recognition of the high quality of our service design and delivery, Train 2000 has been recognised as a leader in Women's Enterprise Development by Liverpool Vision and Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council (KMBC). We received a commendation at the Learning North West Awards in 2005 and we were awarded a Fresh Start award by KMBC.
