Partnership Working for Clients
Train 2000's innovative programme of business support services for women is delivered through a through a package of contracts with public sector agencies and partnerships with universities and the private sector.
Train 2000 are members of a dynamic consortium, Business Start Up that is led by A4e on behalf of the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) and which is currently delivering the North West Business Start Up programme.
The Consortium is made up of 7 organisations, all with excellent track records in providing support and advice.
The organisation also works in close partnerships with Local Authorities acropss the North West, including Liverpool Vision, Knowsley MBC and Sefton MBC in Merseyside and Vale Royal Council and Chester Council in Cheshire, to further enhance our services to women.
Barclays Bank work in partnership with Train 2000, contributing staff time to support clients and sponsoring events awards.
'Be Enterprise' is an exciting initiative supported by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and delivered by Train 2000 in partnership with Elect. The programme helps all adults from across Merseyside aged 19 or over, who are not currently working and who are looking for a new start or are thinking about being their own boss.
Partnership Working Internationally
Train 2000 strives to develop and build on its working partnerships, both nationally and internationally, to empower women and promote their role as businesswomen, employees and social entrepreneurs.
The Red Xana project sees Train 2000 working together with partners from Spain and Slovenia to investigate legislation and the implementation of policies and Best Practice in the area of work life balance, comparing the experiences of the three partner countries.
