Management Training
Train 2000 offer opportunities to gain a first management qualification, develop your performance, become more effective and progress your career. This training is free to eligible women*.
Maybe you are already a team leader but would like formal recognition of your performance in the workplace? Do you manage a small business? Perhaps you are a voluntary line manager and would like to develop your skills and gain a qualification?
This dynamic learning programme is ideal if you are involved in decision making, manage resources, allocate work or co-ordinate projects.
Programme Design
The flexible course is delivered through:
- A series of interactive management workshops - evening delivery
- One to one professional development support in your workplace
- Regular opportunities for networking with other women in management roles
The programme will enable you to:
- Provide leadership in your area of responsibility
- Allocate and monitor the progress and quality of work in your area of responsibility
- Manage diversity
- Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility
- Develop communication and rapport
The course is OCR NVQ Level 3 accredited, assessed through a portfolio of evidence. Participants also have the opportunity to apply for membership of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
